We are not an onerous club, indeed rather friendly however we do have a few T&C’s to ensure everybody stays safe.

Third Party Insurance
It is a requirement that when riding with the club all riders must have valid third party insurance available from British Cycling (BC Bronze level does not provide 3rd party cover), Cyclecover or CTC. Triathlon England membership, Triathlon Scotland, Welsh Triathlon with insurance is also used by our members. For insurance purposes non members are limited to a maximum of 3 rides before they are asked to join.
If you have your own insurance we require proof of insurance to be e mailed to the relevant ride leader prior to riding.
Young people from 15-17 year old are welcome to join our running sessions and club rides. Please read the information below regarding participation.
Prior to running or cycling with us for the first time, we ask that you contact us to determine the most suitable ride/run for you so you have an enjoyable experience.
Youth members are welcome as long as they are competent and confident on the bike. Prior to riding we ask that you contact us to determine the most suitable ride for you so you have an enjoyable experience. As with adult riders it is mandatory that cycling insurance is purchased prior to joining any of our rides. The following additional conditions apply:
- 15 year olds: a copy of a signed Parental consent form must be submitted by email to Shara prior to riding. A parent, guardian or responsible adult known to the rider must accompany them.
- 16 & 17 year olds: may ride with the club unaccompanied A copy of a signed Parental consent form must be submitted by email to Shara prior to attending rides.
For insurance purposes non members are limited to a maximum of 3 rides before they are asked to join the club. Youth membership is £10 unless they are family members then it’s £5.
