Policies and forms
We are not an onerous club, indeed rather friendly however we do have a few T&C’s to ensure everybody stays safe.
We take you and other members safety seriously, please take time to read our cycling guidelines before riding with us Cycling guidelines
Third Party Insurance
It is a requirement that when riding with the club all riders must have valid third party insurance available that covers them for Group riding. Members use for example British Cycling (BC Bronze level does not provide 3rd party cover), Cyclecover or Cycling UK, Triathlon England, Triathlon Scotland, Welsh Triathlon. If you have your own insurance we require proof of insurance to be emailed to the relevant ride leader prior to riding.
For insurance purposes, non-members are limited to a maximum of 3 rides before they are asked to join the club
Club funding policy
As a club, we occasionally get asked if we would help club members gain professional coaching qualifications.
We have recently updated the process for applying for funding to make it more transparent to club members and to ensure the club gains benefit from such funding.
The process for applying for funding is set out in the document below if you feel having read the process that you could be eligible, you can ask for an application form via Pat Garland
Benefit in kind
This policy has been generated at the request of members to ensure there is transparency when trips/events are organised for the club by club members.
